Illustrator change the dimensions in New Documents

Question

"Hi, I have an issue with the updated version of Illustrator. When I create a new document, I enter the first dimension, the width, and when I go to enter the second one, the height, I notice that the first one has changed. Sometimes I don't realize it, and the final result is not as expected because the dimensions are incorrect. Why could this be happening? Thank you!"
