Illustrator color profiles feature request

Unlike Photoshop and Indesign the Illustrator team seem to have a dislike of color profiles, and there are two areas that should be revised to fully embrace them.

If you create or open a file without a profile, then deliberately add one, the expectation when you hit save is the file now includes the profile just like Ps and Id. Except it doesn’t. You have to know the secret trick of performing a Save-As and checking on “Embed ICC Profiles”. What does putting that in the Save-As dialog accomplish except confuse everyone? The preference of including or removing a profile happens while you have the document open so there shouldn’t be any further action required when simply saving.

The other place is when saving out a pdf using the “Illustrator Default” preset. You would be under the false pretense this is the least destructive and safest pdf preset, but for some reason it does not include color profiles. I always have to create my own custom Illustrator Default that includes profiles.
