Illustrator Color Swatch Menu Bug

Problem I've experienced since the swatch menu has been updated in one of the recent Illustrator updates. When trying to select the specific fill swatch menu (the little drop down swatch menus that appear on the top left) the selected color will only apply to the fill if it is set to the primary swatch (the big fill/outline swatch that appears under tools which you can toggle using the "X" key). So if outline is set to the primary swatch and I select the specific fill swatch menu and select a color, the selected color will apply to the outline instead of the fill. Easier to understand once you see it in the screen recording. In the recording the specific fill swatch menu is the one experiencing this bug, however I believe I've experienced the same issue with the specific outline swatch menu at a different time.

 

OS: Sequoia 15.1.1 (24B91)

Current Illustrator version: 29.1

    The link about the bug report from creative_curiosity1549 takes you to X, not Adobe bug report.

    You should probably clear your cache. Or reboot the computer or both.

    Same issue. The Fill or stroke does not work as it should in Illustrator. This just started recently. I can not select items to change color fills. It will only change the stroke when I want the fill. I can get some items to change if I select them individually, but some will not change the fill. For example, I create a label and copy selective art to a white layer (represented by C=30) a and need to change some art/teat that does not print to my Library saved Transparent color.
