Illustrator constantly freezing up and not responding!!!???

I recently bought the adobe creative suite this past month. I use Illustrator the most and everything is great about it except that it has been so frustrating because is constantly is freezing up and "Not Responding".

Is this Illustrators fault? My computer? My Internet??

I use a laptop and it is new as of January. It really doesnt freeze up in any other places. Just Adobe.

Please tell me how I can fix this! Adobe is expensive and I don't want to waste my money on a product that is always freezing up!

I have projects to get done.

    Nobody can tell you anything without exact system info or other technical details liek the crash info. Pretty much all Adobe apps use GPU acceleration, so start by updating your graphics drivers and configuring them suitably.
