Illustrator Copy the colours code

Hi everyone, I'm a graphic design student. For any of my works I need to provide Moodboard or similar, so doing the presentations for my works, I notice that all the students need copy by hand the colours code (typing one by one or taking a screenshot from phone ) RGB, CMYK ...
I'm wondering if it is possible to add a button under the colours panel that can give us the possibility to copy and paste on presentations or logo guides to make our life easier than copy it one by one from Illustrator to InDesign.
I think that make sense..?
Kind regards,
Serena Maluccio

Have you thought of making use of the library feature. You will like it! Perfect for what you want.

Hi Grant yes I usually use the library (cmyk and Pantone solid coated mostly) I was just wondering if it is any very easy way already to click once and copy the four percentage of pigment of a CMYK colour perhaps.. instead to copying them from screen and remember the numbers.. thank you for your reply if you know how to do can you please tell me too?

CMYK will be difficult for an independent app to do that. Maybe put in a feature request. What I do is copy the colour object to the other app and eyedropper from there.
