Illustrator could partialy read this file 27.0 ver

I have a file of 500MB and I've read every messages regarding this issue in the illustrutor community.  I tried with 27.0 version, 26.0 vesion and my computer system is windows11. It kept saying Illustrator could partialy read this file 27.0 ver. I got lots of work within the file and it is so frastruting.

Thanks for reaching out. I have replied to your DM and shared the recovered file there. The recovered file size is around 900MB. We tried our best to recover it, but there are missing PDF data in the file, which cannot be recovered fully.

Maybe @Anshul_Saini can help.

 

Anything happened when you last saved the file? A crash?

Have you already moved it to your desktop before opening? Don't put it in a synchronized folder.

 

Important files need to be backed up regularly. Period.

Backup and then backup again.

 

If you are worrying about your small disk, get an additional one. They are a bargain compared to rebuilding the file from scratch.

    How many pages is it supposed to be? I get six.

    When I have a complex project, I create a new doc for each page (or spread), or lay it out in ID, export to pdf then put together.

    Yes it is six pages document. To clarify, you opened it with ID right？Is it edible at your side like lines and shapes or just plain images？

    No, I opened it in Illustrator, it was an ai file.

    Not editable as far as I could tell.
