Hello,

Illustrator just crashed, no error, no nothing. I lost two hours of work. There are no restored files. Nothing. Just lost all my work. I can just f*cking start over.

Fix your buggy software, Adobe.

- No [restored] file

- If I open the .aid in my library folder, it crashes again

- No support from Adobe

@Frans van der Vleuten sorry to hear that you lost your work! Know that feeling, but, for my reasons, my auto save is set for an hour. Do you not save you work? Or use the 'Auto Save' in your 'Preferences?' You can set it every 30 seconds? If you keep trying to open that temporary file (.aid), and it crashes, it likely is corrupted. Don't even bother with it.

You can try to see if there any other solutions besides what I suggested in your preferences:

Autosave does only exist for Cloud documents.

The recovery function is not Autosave and it's not a good idea to treat it as such.

If you want to save your work, go to File > Save
