Illustrator crash when creating or editing a repeating pattern

I had a look, and I couldn’t find any crash reports submitted under your community email address. Could you please submit a crash report following the steps here: https://adobe.ly/437NYKL, and then DM me the email address you used while submitting? I’ll check the logs from our side.

In the meantime, it would be great if you could share a few more details, like the version of Illustrator you're currently using, your operating system, and whether this happens with all files or just a specific one. Also, can you confirm if it crashes even when working on a newly created file?

If you're able to reproduce the crash consistently, a short screen recording showing the pattern you're working on and where exactly the crash happens would be super helpful. Also, if you can describe the kind of repeating pattern you're creating or editing.
