Illustrator crashes/doesn't respond after creating/opening a file

Every time I try to open Illustrator and I create a file it crashes. It happens every time. I can't open an existing document, because it will also crash.

Illustrator is fully updated and had the same problem in the last versions

 

Is there a way to fix this?

Is there a printer connected, set up as the default printer and turned on? If not, connect one.
