Hello,

Then after "Adobe Illustrator quit unexpectly" message I choose "Run Diagnostics" and Illustrator runs in Safe Mode but the brushes panels is disabled.

Here is the message:

Adobe Illustrator is running in Safe Mode and has disabled the following Items:

Plug-in: BrushManagerUI.aip.

Enable the BrushManagerUI.aip couse above mentiond error.

What can I do to fix the problem?

    Correct answer Swill Klitch

What exactly have you changed in

    (Disk):\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Illustrator CC 2018\Plug-ins

    location?

I havn't installed any external plugins to Illustrator.

I noticed, that after reinstall with removing preferences (which is better to backup first) there's some leftovers in this folder. Actually, it must be fully deleted after uninstall. So I (backed up and) deleted everything, and installed Ai back. It works now, I even upgraded it to 22.0.1 today.

Here you can read the details AIPostman.dll and BrushManagerUI error, Illustrator can't start after 22.1 update

    Probably you need to re-install.

You can first try if restarting the computer and/or resetting the preferences helps.

To reset the preferences you can rename the folder.
