Illustrator crashes with macOS High Sierra

Hello everybody, I'm experiencing some trouble with Illustrator.

I have a Mac Book Pro that I bought few months ago and I'm now running macOS High Sierra 10.13.1.

Since the last update illustrator and indesign don't work properly. Illustrator crashes almost right after I launch it and cause a complete crash of the computer.

I'm not even able to force quit the app and I have to turn off the computer using the power button.

Can anyone help me out?

Thanks

on a mac in Sierra & High Sierra go to settings, security & privacy, privacy tab, click accessibility (for High Sierra), click the padlock to unlock, then in the window "Allow the apps below to control your computer." click the + on the bottom, select the apps you want to use, restart your computer & the adobe apps will work.@MarthaDibblee

iMac Pro, 10 core, 64gb ram, High Sierra 10.13.4 and latest AI CC 2018

I am placing a file (jpg) on an dartboard to trace it and when I resize the jpg, AI crashes.

Adobe and HS do not play well together.

Same here, on my quite new MacBook Pro High Sierra (MacBook Pro (13-inch, 2017, Four Thunderbolt 3 Ports, 3,3 GHZ, 16GB memory) illustrator crashes constantly when saving files. Get your shit together Adobe, i think this is a generic issue. I don't like having to pay a big amount of money for a ton of apps i don't use, and i like the expensive apps dat i do use crashing on me even less.

Contact Support to have someone log into your machine to try and fix it.

Please offer a real solution, like delivering bugfree products instead of costing me even more time and money to have "someone log in to my computer" or referring to the support page. This bug apparently is related to High Sierra, i do not have an uncommon laptop (2017 MacBook pro). Please Google to find other people who experience a very unstable Illustrator CC 2018. Written quite angrily afther the third MacBook reboot today while using Illustrator.

Please get in touch with us at sharewithai@adobe.com  or any of the other support channels - https://helpx.adobe.com/support.html . Please give a reference to this post so that we can identify you.

Since this is not a generic issue that we can reproduce at our end, we will need someone to look into your machine to figure out what is going on here.

Warm Regards,

We are having the same issue at our company. Please advise.

I have the same problem with Adobe Illustrator 22.0.1 and MacOs High Sierra 10.13.1.

Illustrator crashes often when I simply save a file... It is very frustrating as I did not have this problem with previous system and previous illustrator versions.

Tried to turn off auto-recovery to see if it made a difference, but it doesn't.

Anyone have a solution for this?

Where do you save your files? Hard disk or server? Synched folder?

You know that High Sierra brought a new file system?

Do you use that one or the old one?

I'm using the new file system without any saving issues.

Did you migrate preferences?

Try and rename the preferences folder so Illustrator creates them new.

Then:

try and recreate the OOBE folder:
