(illustrator CS6) Can't export individual art boards

I updated to the new Mac OS Sierra and when I went back into illustrator I first had to download the java update, but then when I went to save my files the Format section in Export is grayed out. It will not let me save individual art boards to PNG or JPEG. It will now only let me save individual art boards when I go through Save As. How do I fix this? I don't want to have to create new documents for every art board!

    Hi!

I have the same issue for Ai CS6 after update.

The solution is pretty simple: just scale the width of your export window to minimum, and the box for ticking artboards becomes active and you can select the range.

    Hope this will help!

I am exporting a pdf files using the separate artboards option. but it annoyingly saves all of the artboards every single time which provides me a multipage pdf. Adobe – fix the basics, we need those basic things work, instead of magical filters, fgs!

This method just doesn't work :/. Any ideas how to export pdf without separating illustrator files? It shows the other artboards after you open the exported one in AI.

You're using outdated software on the latest operating system. There won't be any fixes to CS6.

You might want to consider either updating Illustrator or downgrading your system.
