Illustrator CS6 Crashes at Launch

When I attempt to open Illustrator, the splash screen shows, starts to load, then the splash screen goes black and I get an error message "Illustrator Closed Unexpectedly".

I have tried the "hold shift while opening", reinstalling, repairing, deleting all add-ons, opening as admin...nothing is helping.

I'm on Win10, and Veranda and Tahoma are installed, and in .ttf format.

Thank you!

Stacy,

You may, if not already,

A) Uninstall (ticking the box to delete the preferences if applicable),

B) run the Cleaner Tool, and

C) reinstall.

You may try without step B), but sometimes it is needed, because otherwise things may linger.

To uninstall:

Cleaner Tool:

Stacy,

Veranda and Tahoma are installed,

With the former, at least you have a good view and fresh air. Sorry, it was stronger than I.

Did you reinstall your Adobe apps after updating to Win 10?  Try theatre as a first step.

Yes I did, technically. It's a new computer that came with Win 10. I have the Creative Suite, so it's all in one package, if that helps.
