All the sudden, pdf/x-4 (including 2 other options at the bottom) standard preset is disabled from the dialog box in illustrator CS6.

How can I enable back to the original preset... Please HELP!

"All of a sudden" means? since 5 minutes? Yesterday? Last week? Since you updated the system?

    What's in the file?

It seem to happened after I changed to a new Admin. User Name few days ago.

Nothing unusual about the file, mostly few lines of text which was created before I changed to the new admin name. I noticed all other Illustrator files's PDF dialog box appear same way missing/disabled the last 3 PDF options.

    Thanks!

Thank you very much for your response...I am going to try what you suggested and let you know the outcome.

I do have one more question please...

Eversince, I replaced my computer (MacPro) and upgraded operating system (High Sierra), all text fonts appear blurry in the CS6 applications. Can we fix this problem?

Again, I would really appreciate help! (I am a retired/older generation graphic designer with limited technical knowledge)

CS6 and High Sierra are not (fully) compatible and never will be. Not even CC2017 is (fully) compatible with High Sierra.

Your system/hardware most probably is Retina, which Illustrator CS6 is not and that's why everything looks blurry. When upgrading anything you have to consider that you will need to upgrade all the other components as well.

High Sierra is an utter mess of an operating system. Because of that and the fact that Apple hasn't made a decent computer in 10 years I just bought a Mac Pro second hand and will wait a loooooong time before upgrading that system. I have some technical knowledge and that's the reason why I don't upgrade.
