Illustrator cursor is jerky when drag and drop object.

when click drag object the cursor is jerky and sometime is delay for click select object and need to wait 1-2 second for drag smooth. How can I fix it.

-Mac OS Sonoma 14.5

-Illustrator 28.5.0

Do you have Magnet or Rectangle installed? Or a different Window manager?

Thank you for posting this and for being able to get a solution. This issue cripped my small business for an hour lol. Thanks to this thread we were able to quickly fix it - by stopping Magnet from window tiling (MacOS 15 now does this natively anyway). Much appreciated!
