Illustrator default color

Hey everyone
I don't know what i pressed but now whenever i try to open or import a pdf document i comes as CMYK color instead of the default RGB i don't know what to do pleaase help guys!!!

If you are creating a new document, you have the option to choose which color space you want it to be. You may have chosen the wrong preset or accidentally changed the color mode and that setting is sticky.

However, if you are indeed OPENING a PDF, it will open in the color space of the PDF.
