Illustrator does not save any type of file

I have been trying to save an AI file as PDF since two days and  still I couldn't manage.

I read all the all related communtiy topics, watched all solution videos on the youtube but none of them worked.

If I try to save as PDF progress bar stoping around %99 and not responding

I Itry to save AI this time it says unable to save...

I've updated AI

Updated Windows

Updated drivers

Unchecked autosave

Reset preferences

I still can't save a simple file. I can't understand how a program can be so bad. I've never seen such a bad program and such a stupid problem in my life. I've been trying for two days for a 1 hour job. I've been using PS for years and I've never experienced anything like this. It's as if Illustrator was made by a crappy company and not the same company.

Where are you trying to save?

Try on the internal harddrive, no synchronized folder.

Also: turn off "Save in background"

What's in the file?

Which options did you turn on?

How large is the file?

Is color management turned on? How is it set up?

I've tried to save on both local hard disk on my windows computer but didnt work.

"Save in background" is also unchecked.

This an small logo file 2,16 MB

Do you mean the color management in the print preferences ?

By the way two times uninstalled the Illustrator and installed again and nothing has changed.

So I have lost my hope to save my file and thinking what to say to customer I did your logo but I can't save it sorry ?

I'm looking forward to hear your suggestions about it 🙂

I'm referring to Edit > Color settings.

Hey @logodbs

Are you Exporting the file? I am asking for the sake of asking. I trust you have followed the steps and recommendations.

File - Export As - Format drop down menu PDF

As a temporary work around...
Open up your file in Adobe Express and download it as a PDF.

Save the image to your Adobe cloud.
In Express, under your stuff. You should see your Ai file (name). Open and resize as you require.

Cheers.

Hi Nate,

I think Adobe team read your suggestion Adobe Express also keeps crashing today.

I tried your Export As option but same thing happened while saving at the and of progress bar stoped and says "not responding.

I think last solution is finding someone who uses cracked Illustrator and ask him to save my file
