Illustrator Error with CSV Files

Hi! We have a document with many variables that we have all linked. Whenever I upload an updated csv file using "Load Variable Library", I select "Yes" to overwrite the current variables and data sets. But I get an error message that says "The filter cannot complete because of an unknown error." I can only upload a new csv file if I unlink every variable and then relink them after the file is uploaded, even though the file is the same format with the same variables. Any fixes to this??

I'm getting this exact same issue. Works fine if each variable is linked to a single text field, but if there's multiple text fields assigned to each variable, the CSV load fails.

@katelyn_0893 - Hi,

Is it possible for you to share the sample ai  and csv file to look into the issue?

Best regards

Sure! I had to make some edits due to privacy but it should work the same.

@katelyn_0893 we need the illustrator file too to do the testing.

(It is strange that this forum doesn't allow .ai files to be attached, but you can save your .ai file as a .pdf "with Illustrator editing capabilities" and attach that.)
