Illustrator for IPad help

Question

Hello,I have illustrator for iPad and need some help.  I can’t figure out how to create a line within the design, it gives me a dotted pink line that I can’t turn into a stroke.  How can I turn this pink dotted line into a stroke?  I used this tool below to create the dotted line, but now I cannot figure out how to turn it into a regular stroke.

These are just guidelines that display circles that this particular tool recognizes in the design. You can’t draw them as actual curves.

If you need circles, you unfortunately have to use the respective tool and draw circles.
