Illustrator for iPad Upgrades

This doesn’t help you much, but here is my experience with iPads…

I was looking into a portable system a while back and compared the iPad with the Microsoft Surface. (I’m an Mac/Apple user since 1985 but use both platforms for training.) I went with the Surface since I could use the full versions of the Adobe programs, not a stripped down version. 
Currently, with similar specs*, the iPad Pro is $1699 and the Surface is $1599. 
*iPad: 12 GB memory, 512 GB storage; Surface: 16 GB memory, 512 GB storage.

I did not include the detachable keypad or pens on either as they cost about the same to add on.

Sidenote: I’ve since replace the Surface (cat knocked it off the nightstand) with a MacBook Air with 24 GB memory and 512 GB storage. It still slips into my notebook to hide/carry. It’s not my main work computers or training laptop, but it’s good enough to run most Adobe programs when I have to.
