Illustrator freezes when scrolling on Windows

Has anybody successfully fixed the mousewheel zoom in Illustrator on Windows? Very capable up to date machine. 

Updated / reinstalled OS, AI and Nvidia drivers. (Studio drivers should really be tested before Qualification)

Updated Logitech drivers

Tried Different UI scales

Tried with and without all the Hardware Acceleration GPU preferences

With and without Live zoom

With and without Smart Scroll (logitech options+)

I am not sure how many versions of AI have to go back to get it working again

This is a major bug that keeps happening and it would be good if some resource could be allocated to fully testing and fixing it.

Losing a LOT of time to the app hanging when I scroll the mouse wheel

    I stayed on Illustrator version 28.x because of that matters. How did you reset your preferences? - Uninstalled Illustrator and installed without the import old settings checkbox? Thanks

      Bottom right button in General Preferences

      But if you talk to a support agent they can give you a deeper way to reset preferences. This worked immediately for me (You have to retart Illustrator!)
