Illustrator issues

I have not installed the Pantone plug-in yet. After reading all of the customers reviews on how it has screwed up their system..not so sure I want to except for the fact I want the pantone book/chips within illustrator. But if it isn’t working properly…

Why did Adobe do this! Don’t you care about your customers?

There are several workaround listed here including adding in the previous color books as @Monika Gause mentioned.

Install (or go to if still installed) an older version of Illustrator like 2022 (CC app > Apps > All Apps > Illustrator > click the 3 dots … > Other Versions)

Go the Illustrator 2022 Application folder > Presets > (your language folder) > Swatches > Color Books > and make a copy of PANTONE+ Solid Coated.acb and PANTONE+ Solid Uncoated.acb

Keep them in a safe place and copy them to the same location in the Illustrator 2023 application folder.

It's not Adobe who did this. Pantone pulled their colors out.

You can still install an earlier Illustrator version, drag the libraries out of their folders and install them in your current version.
