illustrator keeps crashing!

I am writing to express my frustration with Adobe Illustrator, which has been crashing frequently, even with simple files. This issue is severely impacting my workflow and productivity. Today was particularly frustrating as the recovery file failed to save almost any of my work. Having used Illustrator for over 20 years, I have never experienced such persistent issues before. Please address this problem as soon as possible.

    I am experiencing the same issue...Very frustrating. on a window 10, I9-900K CPU 3.6Ghz, 64 GB RAM.
    It worked all fine up to two weeks ago. I tried to update and "boom" it stopped working.
    I have uninstalled and reinstalled twice. I don't know what to do anymore. Please help....Tight deadlines..

      Which version and system is it?

      What are your hardware specifications? You did already reboot the system and reset the preferences?

      Adobe Illustrator 2024. MacBook Pro. Apple M2 Pro. Memory 16 GB. 427,75 GB available storage.
      I'll have a look at resetting the preferences like you suggest, though that shouldn't be the whole problem.

      16 GB of RAM is just not an awful lot.

      I have an M1 Macbook and have Illustrator running for days on it. 

       

      Which system is it? Can you also try and boot into Safe Mode to see if that works?
