ILLUSTRATOR KEEPS CRASHING SINCE SWITCHING TO WINDOWS 11

It seems that since I installed windows 11 a couple of days ago my illustrator crashes after I've tried to execute just a few operations such as using the mesh tool to warp text.  It seems that whenever I try to move the anchor handles especially when I try to move them independently of each other that after I try a couple or three times then the system crashes.  I tried unchecking the GPU under performance but the same thing keeps happening.  I have also tried reinstalling and it does work for few minutes but then it crashes again.  Your help would be greatly appreciated.
