Question

Illustrator keeps crashing when I scroll

So I'm currently using a windows 10 PC, after like 5 minutes of opening a project the scroll bar sticks to my mouse cursor, freezes the whole program and then crashes or it freezes my whole computer and I have to force quit it using the task manager. This happens with both mouse and tablet(Hudion Kamvas 3). It only works properly if I uninstall and boot up an older version 28.1.  28.2 and 28.3 all do this.
I have no idea what's happening or why it's glitching like this with the newer versions. Is there possibly a setting I have to play with to fix this or is this a straight-up bug?

Hello @Hannah28745829fv2t and @Natalie35824517b8ml,

Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention. We understand how frustrating it can be to experience crashes while working in Illustrator.

To help us investigate further, could you please submit crash reports with the email address you used to log in to the community (https://adobe.ly/3vitkdG)? This will assist us in locating the crash reports and analyzing the issue more effectively.

Additionally, go to Illustrator preferences> Devices > Uncheck "Enable Wacom" and see if that helps.

Also, please share your system specs and the tablet's exact model & driver version installed.

Please let us know once you have submitted the crash report. We'll check with the product team.

Best regards,

Anshul Saini
