Illustrator keeps opening same file on launch

Hi guys,
Every time I launch Illustrator it automatically opens a file i began working on last week - any thoughts on how to sort it?

When was the last time you rebooted the computer?

Ah I do that every morning, its not resolving the issue

You might need to reset preferences. This will erase all your settings.
