I do not know what the issue could be. Illustrator lags and does not respond on my windows 10. Sometimes it even shuts down.

I have checked and tried the recommended solutions on their website but here I am still.
I do need help

Hello @Aboyi28937043mpv2,

We understand how frustrating it can be to experience crashes. If you're using a Wacom Tablet, we recommend trying an older version of the driver (6.3.46-2) to see if it resolves the issue. Also, if you are using a Windows computer and have Antivirus software enabled, kindly try adding the Adobe applications to the exclusion list or disabling the Antivirus software temporarily to check if it helps.

If not, please follow the steps in this help article (https://helpx.adobe.com/illustrator/kb/fix-crash-on-launch-issues.html) and let us know your observations. Also, kindly share the crash report using the steps in this article (https://helpx.adobe.com/illustrator/kb/crash-next-steps.html) and use the same email account as your community account for quick tracking. We appreciate your time and efforts in resolving this issue.

Looking forward to your response.

Thanks,
Anubhav

Even shutting down sounds like a virus. what happens if you restart and do not start a web browser and use nothing else but Illustrator. Can we see screenshot of your running processes?

OOBE RESET WIN

Quit the Creative Cloud desktop app  (100% you must do this)

C:\Users\<user folder>\AppData\Local\Adobe\OOBE

The AppData folder is hidden in Windows by default. See Show hidden files, folders, filename extensions | Windows for instructions to access it.

Delete all the files within the OOBE folder, but do not delete the folder itself.

Restart the computer and launch the Creative Cloud desktop app again.

When I'm not using any adobe apps my laptop runs okay.
But once I put on illustrator, especially, the app begins to lag badly.
Currently, it hasn't switched off my computer in about 3 days but files where I import/place images or have a couple (about 10 - 15) of artwork work badly.
