Illustrator laggy on 128 g ram on windows 10

I tried everything on the illustrator performance page. Nothing works. I have more than enough ram. It lag on every clicks. Worse the longer illustrator is open. Even tried making smaller files with fewer layers and no diffrence.

What exact version of Illustrator are you using? While the latest version of Illustrator is supported on WIndows 10 Adobe does recommend updating to Windows 11 for full compatibility.

Could you confirm the version of Illustrator installed, and if Illustrator behaves this way when working with a specific tool/feature, along with the system report (https://adobe.ly/44tkdWS), so I can better assist you?

Also, try running Illustrator under Safe Mode (Windows) and under a different administrator account (Windows) and share your observations.
