Illustrator measurement tool annoying pop-up

How do I get rid of the annoying pop-up which appears when I click on the measurement tool in Illustrator? AND I can't get back to the eye-dropper tool!

TUrning off Rich tool tips in Preferences > General does not help?

No, turning off Show Rich Tool Tips in Edit > Preferences > General does not help. It was already off. I tried cycling that, and the Show Tool Tips, restarting AI... The pop-up goes away if I close the document and then re-open it, but comes back if I use the Measuring tool again.

Hello @MrMarkSH2,

I'm sorry to hear about your experience. Could you try clicking on Next on the pop-up to continue the tour and checking if it then dismisses the window?
If you can't see the buttons, try resetting your display scaling and resolution in the system preferences and the UI scaling settings in Illustrator to the defaults. Then, relaunch Illustrator and share your observations.
