Question

Illustrator no longer working with Tablet

Hi, I use a Huion H610PRO tablet for most of my University work, but over the last 4 months it hasn't been working at all with Adobe Illutrator or Photoshop. When I use the pen can create dots that vary in size, letting me know the tablet is working, but it doesn't let me draw anything more than that. I have tried many things to solve the problem but haven't been able to solve it and now I'm just feeling like I am paying money for software that I can't even use. If anyone has any ideas, they would be much appreciated, thank you.

I believe I have solved the issue. I'm running Windows 10 and latest version of Illustrator, btw.

Step 1:  Ensure/Download latest Huion drivers - Support

Step 2:  Turn on Pen Pressure settings in Illustrator > Brushes window > Top Right Menu Button >  Brush Options... > Change 'Size' dropdown to 'Pressure' & Variation all the way up ... Should be good to go after that! ...Adjust the settings to your liking!

I opened Illustrator a couple days ago and was running into the same issue again, myself. I checked the pressure settings, and they were correct. I haven't tried re-installing the Huion drivers again, but feel this would re-fix the issue. I instead just used Photoshop for what I needed, since it was still working for some reason. Adobe's graphic tablet integration seems to be buggy.

My Huion WH1409 is behaving the same way as yours is. This is aggravating :S
