Illustrator not responding

Illustrator quits responding when I add an art board. Does anyone know how to fix this?

    Hi Nikki,

    We are sorry to hear about that. I hope the issue is solved by now. If not, I would suggest you to remove preferences folders manually and check if that helps:

    • Close all Adobe applications.
    • Go to Locations C:\Users\user\AppData\Roaming\Adobe and.
    • Delete or rename Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Illustrator 22 Settings folders.
    • Launch Illustrator from the Creative Cloud

    I am using 2021 and tried the above, still have same issue

    Which version, which system?

    When was your last restart?

    Does this happen in a newly created document?

    Windows 8 and in any Document I open. Newly created or one once been working in. Restarted today. Illustrator CC is up to date
