Illustrator not sending to print

Illustrator is not responding when I send a file to my laser printer. It has been working fine for the past 5 years with the same laser printer, now suddenly, im getting buffering, illustrator not responding. I shut down and reopen and sometimes that works. I have had to unistall and reinstall to get it to work. Today, nothing is working. I cant print any of my files. Adobe Illustrator CC fully updated, Windows 10.. Can someone please suggest a fix for this? Maggi x

    Windows tends to mess printer settings up with every update.

    So did you check printer setup in Windows? Maybe reset the printer, check for printer driver updates.
