illustrator objects in premiere

All,

Please provide some understanding for me here.

1. I have a video shot in 3840 x 2160 resolution.

2. I have some objects that I need to show up on the screen just to the left of my subject.

3. I had the vector objects saved as png by the artist, I then created an artboard the same size as my video resolution.

4. I place the png in the location of the art board where I would like them to show up

5/ I export as a png the illustrator file with a transparent background.

What is happening is that when I drop into my sequence it doesnt retain the coordinates from where I placed the object.

I think this has something to do with the transparency but Im wondering what is happening and how to solve because I cant move the object around in premier pro.

Any help would be appreciated ...

In your .ai file add a rectangle to match the entire canvas size filled with none.

Save as.ai format and import that so you can transform logo without quality loss if needed.

Save as.ai format

Right. There is no compelling reason for rasterizing to PNG. Contrary to your thread title, that's no longer an "Illustrator object."
