Illustrator Panel issue

Sometimes, when I open panels in Illustrator, they close immediately.

Does anyone know how to fix this? Restarting the computer occasionally works, but it's not a reliable solution and quite frustrating.

Any suggestions?

Hello @Rafael Meneguzzo,

Would you mind running Illustrator under Safe Mode (Windows) and checking if it helps? Also, try disabling third-party plugins or programs while running Illustrator (if any) and share your observations.

It didn’t solve the issue. As I mentioned, sometimes restarting the software or the computer works, but doing this every time it happens becomes exhausting.

Attached are the extensions and scripts I use. I don’t think they’re the issue, as the Ai works correctly even when they are active. The problem is sporadic, but I believe it’s more related to the software’s files rather than third-party ones.

Thanks for confirming. Could you try running Illustrator under a different administrator account (Windows) and check if it helps?

If the problem persists, try the following steps and share your observations:

Close all Adobe applications
Remove Illustrator using the Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool (https://adobe.ly/3PRP7j8)
Reinstall the application using the Creative Cloud Desktop application (https://adobe.ly/42tywd7)
Relaunch Illustrator
