Illustrator Pathfinders Error (Filter produced no lines. Please select one or more filled paths.

This is a new error. I have been using pathfinders divide to split the text and create the gap where the line is. However this error randomly started showing up. All paths are filled. None of the pathfinder options are working at this point.

    In order to use pathfinder operations you need to first expand the text.
