Illustrator PC desktop beta app gone?

I’ve been using the PC desktop beta app for Illustrator and it’s been such a big help for work. I don’t have a MAC and never have so it’s been such a blessing to learn and use in the past few months. Then it was just gone overnight. The in-browser option just doesn’t compare.

Realizing it was a beta so an official one might be coming but has there been info on if so and when? Would be very useful for my work.

Fixed! Thanks to the community for pointing me in the right direction.

There was an update that happened or was needed and it was hidden in creative cloud. After finding/pushing the update through, the app reappeared.

The user interface in the Creative Cloud desktop app has changed a bit over the past year or so. To find beta apps click the Apps button on the left end of the window. You should see several buttons at the top of the window (All apps, Your apps, Imaging, Video, Design, Document, 3D, Beta, Pre-release).

Super helpful detail to point out. However, I tried that too and it’s just gone. See attached screenshot.

Wait….found what could be a fix. To the top right, where it says installed apps, the list is empty. The 3 dropdown there says check for updates. I did that and it popped back up. Downloading now. Very oddly hidden.

That does seem strange. Would you mind trying the following steps and checking if it helps:

Close all Adobe applications
Remove the Creative Cloud Desktop application, CCLibrary, and CoreSync using the Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool (https://adobe.ly/4hho27Y)
Reinstall the Creative Cloud Desktop application (https://adobe.ly/3RUQNgu)
Relaunch Illustrator

Thanks for the response. I went through all of those steps and the problem still remains. It only says I can access ai files via tablet app or web browser now. It seems like the app was removed online.
