I am having the issue where the mouse wheel scroll to zoom is causing Illustrator to lock up. Deleting preferences and starting from scratch worked for a time but the issue comes back after a few days.

OS: Windows 11

CPU: 13th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-13700

RAM: 64 GB

GPU: Nvidia RTX 4060 (studio drivers)

Mouse: Logitech wired mouse

The same issue that is in these links.

@Alluring_Mist0742 According to Logitech, the recommended workaround is to turn off Smooth Scrolling in your mouse settings and lower the polling rate to 125–250 Hz, avoiding anything higher. If you’re using a newer Logi model, disable smartwheel until Adobe resolves the Illustrator input‑handling issues.

On my setup, the most reliable fix was disabling Animated Zoom and GPU Performance inside Illustrator.

Thanks for the reply! It is just a basic Logitech mouse (mk200). I can try animated zoom/GPU performance though to see if that helps. Changing to CPU view (ctrl + E) seems to help also.
