Illustrator Print Issues

I am attempting to print a greeting card. It is a pre-creased piece of A5 card (210mm x 148mm) and will esentially be an A6 card (105mm x 148mm) once printed and folded. However, I cannot for the life of me get it to print as it is displayed on the screen. It is all perfectly aligned, yet it prints completely off.

Adjusting the artwork to suit would essentially take if off of the artboard and even then, it doesn't seem to want to print in alignment. Am I missing a trick?

As you can see, the artwork is off of the artboard and into the bleed area of this. Yet, the printed version is nowehre near the edges. I moved it over at least 5x more after this and it printed in the exact same position.

I will also upload a photo of the print result from the artwork being completely aligned.

Can your printer physically print to the edge of the paper?

I don't think it prints directly edge to edge, which is fine. I am not wanting completely borderless printing, however, even with allowance for the printer grab, this is not printing in alignment.

Is the paper size set up correctly? Does the printer do any adjustments on its own (because it cannot print borderless)?
