illustrator print to pdf of colour separations

I am on mac latest (m3 chip) and using latest Illustrator 28.0.0. I want to print colour page separations to pdf (printers seps) but I only have postcript file available in printer and no ppd. The scaling is not available in print dialogue box either and obviously the separations host based is not available either. I do not have a printer connected to mac. How do I rectify this as I have searched for answers but topics are alll ancient.

Hi, I spoke to an agent at adobe and was directed to download the ppd for pdf. Directly loaded ppd in print dialogue box and problem resolved. So my mac was missing the pdf ppd - ADPDF9.PPD
