Illustrator refuses to open, Adobe refuses to care

On hold now for approaching three hours.

When I try to open AI, it gives me a popup wanting me to license the software and provide a (non-existent) serial number. It is Illustrator 6.0.

License is fully paid to date, last payment extracted by Adobe on 4 November 2018.

Illustrator 6.0? You mean CS6?

Which system is it?

And you are using the Cloud version of CS6? Or the perpetual license?

Can you please show a screenshot of the exact error message?
