Illustrator reopens after quiting

Hello,I have a problem with Illustrator, it keeps reopening after quitting. The problem goes away only when I force quit the program. I'm using mac mini M1 on macOS 12.2 Montery.

Sorry to hear about this experience. Kindly try updating Illustrator to version 26.3.1 and the macOS on your computer to version 12.4 and check if the issue persists.

Also, try resetting Illustrator's preferences by following the steps shared in this article (https://helpx.adobe.com/illustrator/using/setting-preferences.html) and share your observations.

Disclaimer: Please note that resetting preferences will remove all custom settings, and Illustrator will launch with the defaults. You may take a backup of these settings from the location mentioned in the article.
