Illustrator retype functoin reboots my computer

Hello Everyone,

 

I wanted to try the new Retype feature in Illustrator, but as soon as I click on "Edit Text" from the quick menu, my computer immediately restarts. Has anyone experienced this? What could be causing it?

Hello @Krisztian37009188mxnp,

Sorry to hear about your experience. Would you mind checking for any pending OS updates (Windows / macOS) and installing them to see if they help? Also, try running Illustrator under a different administrator account (Windows / macOS) and sharing your observations.
