Illustrator Rigged/Extra outlining

I have issue when working with shapes and lines, when zooming-in it appears as there is extra or expanded fill out of the drawn path, and it rigs the overall shape/element I’m designing (such as: shapes, forms, outlined letters etc.)

I attached a screenshot as an example
I’m using Adobe Illustrator 30.0

That look like a GPU preview problem.

GPU preview is much faster but can also be inaccurate.

Try switching between GPU and GPU Preview: Cmd E or Ctrl E.

From time to time I see rendering glitches on objects like the example you posted. Sometimes it depends on the zoom levels. Most often I see the rendering issues while I am adjusting direction handles on an anchor point. I’ll be bending a curve and see the glitch happen in real time. Adding enough anchor points along a curve, or making the curve mild enough or symmetrical enough will reduce or eliminate the issue.

This issue looks like a good illustration of why the type industry shifted more towards using TrueType outlines with quadratic splines. Fonts with Postscript outlines could use fewer anchor points and be more efficient (if not more graceful), but the cubic splines are more difficult to render on screen. TrueType outlines render faster.

    Yeah, It actually works
Just a little problem, the animated zoom feature doesn't work with this function, need to point this out. So I’m going to use the “Preview on CPU” when zooming in

    Thanks for helping 💙

Good to hear that helped, yes it if offering some accuracy for speed.

I normally have GPU on and switch temporarily to CPU Preview when I don’t trust what is displayed.
