Illustrator shape tool plugin issue

Can anyone help. Purchased CC2022 last month, all was fine. Went to use Illustrator today and am getting a messeage saying Plugin issues detected. To fix the issues, you can try relaunching Illustrator in safe mode.ShapeTool.aip. I have deleted the preferences file and the issue persists, I have uninstalled and reinstalled Illustrator and the issue persists. I can't draw a circle, a rectangle, a star. Any ideas?
