Illustrator shifts artwork off of board after saving

I’ve recently been having difficulty with my Adobe Illustrator files where the artwork layer shifts off the artboard after saving as a .AI file, but everything else remains static. It looks perfectly normal in Adobe, but when exporting it and viewing it in Google Drive, it’s shifted. See attached images of the artboard in Illustrator versus the one in Google Drive. 

Thanks so much for any advice or help. I’ve already tried uninstalling and re-installing Adobe.
