Illustrator stroke panel

I just installed illustrator on my personal computer and in my stroke panel on my side window all of my periods are replaced with commas. EX 1.25 is set as 1,25 and so on. If i go to the stroke menu in my control toolbar it's fine, it's just the window on my sidebar. How can i change this?
