Illustrator SVG export is duplicating items

I am doing a save as ...svg from illustrator and when I open up the svg in Lightburn there are some items which are being duplicated on top of each other. I ungrouped the items in Illustrator and there are no duplicates there and if I then open the SV G back into illustrator the items are grouped and duplicated on top of themselves.  thoughts?

here is the original .AI file and the SVG I created which then has the Railroads being duplicated & grouped together.

There's an SVG, but not an AI file

it gave me an error (mismatched file type) for the .ai file when trying to upload, sorry first time using the support community here.

Without seeing the actual file, nobody will be able to even guess.
