Hi

I ran the trial version of illustrator but when i paid for the subscription in said i didn't have systems requirements

    Illustrator CC Release 2018 (version 22) was released on October 18 and has different system requirements from Release 2017 (which you can still download).

    Which version did you have the trial of?

    Did you uninstall and try to install the new version or type the serial number into the version you had?

    trial worked until it expired

    you mean the trial worked fine? how long ago?
