Illustrator Text Tool Skewed—Need Help

Hi, I'm having an issue where text in Illustrator appears skewed/angled, even though all angles are set to 0°. I've tried resetting preferences, reinstalling, and checking transformations, but nothing works.

 

Has anyone else experienced this? Any fixes?

    Perhaps the artboard is rotated?
