Illustrator Version 28.3 Keeps Clashing

Hi.

I updated the software to its latest version (28.3) yesterday, and it has kept clashing since. The first time it closed itself unexpectedly was when I tried to add more artboards. Not long later it clashed again for a different reason, forgot what I was doing but probably just selecting tools. Basically it has clashed like 4-5 times since with no obvious reason, I just work on my task.

I use Macbook Pro 13" M2 (Sonoma 14.3.1), Memory 8 GB, Storage 180.23 out of 494.38 GB.

This task of mine is hitting its deadline, so it can't keep clashing like this. Please help!

Thanks a lot.

Mine is doing this exact issue with V28.3.  I also have a older version installed due to a certain plugin and it still seems solid never crashes, but trying to use the new version to use new features and stay up to date.

I have a very new Alienware -

Win11 64bit

Processor 13th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-13900KF, 3000 Mhz, 24 Core(s), 32 Logical Processor(s)
64GB RAM

GeForce RTX 3090 with updated Studio Drivers.

1TB storage with 550GB free

Probably glitches out and shuts down on me 4-5 times a day in a 8 hour period.

I just noticed its not even letting me open simple PSD files and PNG files now.  I try and open them and it either says file is not readable or it just lags and shuts down with no error or anything?  I tried opening these same files on my older Version 2022 illustrator and they open right up no problem.

Ive reset my preferences a bunch of times.

I have noticed my Microsoft Edge browser has been shutting down similar, so not sure if that is a sign of something else causing these apps to close?

Any Ideas or help on how to find any logs or troubleshooting information to find out what could be causing these issues?

Thank you for the response.  I have already went through that link of steps to try and on top of that I have tried multiple other things.  99% of the time I never get a "Error Report" dialog.  It always just glitches and shuts off.  I'll try and get a error report if that dialog shows up.

8 GB of RAM is at the very low end of the requirements.

So if a previous version worked for you, maybe go back to that?

You could of course try the usual preferences reset, since that is necessary for most Illustrator updates.

Okay, it's "crash" not "clash". Sorry.
